Election 411: Everything you need to know about the upcoming elections.

As the 2021 elections quickly approach, we've created this cheat sheet to help you quickly find answers to your questions.

Municipal Elections

This year all City Council seats and Mayor will be on the ballot. If you wish to run for a municipal position, the qualifying period is August 16 – 20, 2021.

For anyone considering running for a municipal position, the City has constructed a Qualifying Packet for all candidates. Please read through the entire packet as it has key information regarding qualifying documents, campaign finance, sign regulations, ethics and much more.

General Election Information

You can register to vote, or check your registration status at the Georgia Secretary of State website. You must be registered by October 4, 2021 to vote in the 2021 elections. 

You can view a sample ballot prior to voting or request an absentee ballot on the My Voter Page on the Georgia Secretary of State website.

Do you want to vote early this year? Advance voting locations open Tuesday, October 12 through Friday, October 29, weekends included. Voters are able to vote at any advance voting location in Fulton County.
