Sandy Springs to Host Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

January 27, 2022

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (Jan. 27, 2022) — Mark your calendar for the annual date night of the year at the Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks 12th annual Daddy Daughter Dance! This year’s dance will be on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 6 - 8 p.m. at City Hall, 1 Galambos Way, Sandy Springs, 30328.

New this year, the Recreation and Parks Department is partnering with the Sandy Springs Police and Fire departments to provide dancing partners for girls whose fathers are not available to accompany them to the event.

The dance will feature music from dad’s (and father figures) and their daughter’s favorite playlists provided by a live disc jockey. In addition to dancing, there will be plenty of fun activities including dance contests, musical games, and snacks and refreshments.

To make the night even more memorable, participants can make a keepsake photo, in addition to door prizes and a goody bag for each girl. The attire for dads and daughters is business casual to semi-formal.

Advance tickets are $35 per duo plus an additional $10 for multiple daughters. Admittance at the door is $40. Single tickets for attendees requesting a dance partner from SSPD and SSFD are $10. For scholarship information, please contact recreation@sandyspringsga.gov.

Tickets are sold on a first-come first-serve basis until the event is full. To register, visit the registration page and click “activities,” then “Daddy Daughter Dance” or register in-person at City Hall on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
