• SPRING STREET RESURFACING

    The City of Sandy Springs is continuing its commitment to improving our roads with the 2013 Spring Street Resurfacing program. More than 90 streets will be resurfaced during daytime business hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Check the schedule to see if streets in your neighborhood will be effected.

    Performing simple hands-only CPR doubles a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest, yet the vast majority of Americans don’t know how to administer this life-saving procedure. Are you prepared to act if someone you care about stops breathing?

    The Sandy Springs Fire Rescue Department offers free CPR classes for civic groups and organizations in our city. Learn more at sandyspringsga.gov/cpr.

  • INTRODUCING PERMIT GO!

    Have you heard about Permit Go!? Now you can check the status of your building permit at any time. This is one way the City of Sandy Springs has enhanced access to public information by providing 24 hour status checks for ongoing building permits, as well as quicker turnaround for permit reviews.

STORM RECOVERY

Clean up efforts continue throughout Sandy Springs following the fast moving storms that made their way through the city on Thursday. The intense storms caused numerous trees to fall, taking down power lines in many locations and causing disruptions in City administrative services and municipal court.
