Film Production Permits
Film Production Permits
Sandy Springs is a production-friendly city. Whether you are looking for modern office buildings, traditional Southern homes, views of the Chattahoochee River and its wildlife, or bustling street scenes, Sandy Springs offers a wide variety of filming locations.
The City also provides resources and amenities to support productions from development through post-production. Georgia’s film industry incentives also make filming in the state an attractive option.
Film Production Permit applications must be submitted at least five business days before production begins.
The minimum processing time for film permits is two business days. Depending on the type and intensity of the production, additional processing time may be required.
Note: All film productions require an application and should request a meeting with City staff.
For Film Production Permit requests in residential locations expected to last between three and fourteen days, please contact specialevents@sandyspringsga.gov for additional requirements.
