ANNUAL STARS & STRIPES FIREWORKS CELEBRATION IN SANDY SPRINGS RETURNS WITH A BANG ON JULY 4

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (June 14, 2022) – Independence Day will go off with a bang in Sandy Springs as the City’s Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration will again light the sky over City Springs. The event will take place on Monday, July 4.

Electric Avenue® “The 80's MTV Experience” is set to rock the City Green. They have been called “America’s Best 80s Band,” and for good reason! Flawlessly covering many of the hits you know and love from the best decade in music, attendees are sure to be energized by their faithful renditions.

“Last year’s turnout and fireworks were spectacular,” Mayor Rusty Paul said. “I’m thrilled to welcome the crowd back to City Springs to celebrate our nation’s 246th birthday under the stars.”

The lawn opens at 4 p.m. and music begins at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will light the night sky beginning at 9:30 p.m.

Food trucks will open at 6 p.m. Attendees can also bring their own picnic or purchase food from one of the nearby restaurants. Only alcoholic beverages sold on-site are allowed. Tents and personal sparklers are not permitted.

Please check the event page spr.gs/starsandstripes for parking updates, road closures, recommended viewing areas, and other event information.
