This family-friendly event is designed to celebrate, educate, and share the teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr. The event will feature an educational film screening and children's activity stations.
Film Screening
Our Friend, Martin is an animated children's educational film about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights movement. The film follows two friends in middle school who travel through time, meeting Dr. King at several points during his life. Featuring an all-star voice cast, it was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program. This film contains references to historical events that might require explanations for younger audiences.

There will be two screenings of the film: 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Know Before You Go
This event is free and open to the community. Parking is available in the City Springs underground deck, parking rates may apply.
Strollers are not allowed inside Studio Theatre; Stroller parking will be available.
CityBar. & Cafe will offer a kid-friendly menu with items available for purchase: chicken tenders, mac & cheese, and more, along with an assortment of snacks and beverages.
