Zoning Certification

A Zoning Certification Letter confirms the current zoning designation for a property and is commonly used for legal or due diligence purposes. The letter includes the current zoning classification and a list of prior zoning cases associated with the property.

To request a Zoning Certification Letter, submit an online application through the Zoning Certification Application webpage.

Please include the following with your application:

• A legal description of the subject property and parcel ID number(s)
• A current boundary survey sealed by a licensed professional engineer or surveyor, if available
• A $30 payment payable to the City of Sandy Springs
  • Online card payments are accepted and include a 5% service charge

Request letters may include multiple addresses; however, a separate legal description, boundary survey, and payment are required for each additional address.
