Small Business & Entrepreneurs

Georgia defines a small business as one which is independently owned and operated and must have either fewer than 300 employees or less than $30 million in gross receipts per year. Sandy Springs is home to a variety of unique small businesses that contribute to the local economy. With a wide assortment of small businesses within the City of Sandy Springs, their success is important to all of us.

The large number of Fortune 500 firms, technology companies, the Medical District, and Perimeter Center shopping creates a strong market for goods and services from small businesses. High incomes of residents in the area also increase likelihood of retail, restaurant, and other small business success.

The City has and will continue to see significant public and private investment in new City Springs, Roswell Road Corridor, Perimeter Center, and elsewhere that can enhance and stimulate small business growth.
