Roswell Road Sidewalks

Project Status: Winter 2021 — Construction is underway.

Project Description

The purpose of the project is to improve pedestrian safety and mobility along the western corridor of Roswell Road.

Planned improvements include additional sidewalks, streetscape enhancements, trees, and pedestrian lighting.

The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

CDBG funding is provided to the City of Sandy Springs through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Public Information Open House

The City of Sandy Springs hosted an Information Open House regarding sidewalk improvements along Roswell Road between Northwood Drive and Long Island Drive.

The event did not include a formal presentation; however, City representatives were available to discuss the project and answer questions.
