Improve safety and mobility for all users on Roswell Road, between Dunwoody Place, and Roberts Drive. Improvements include a new signalized intersection between Roberts Drive and Dunwoody Place, a connector road between Roberts Drive and North River Parkway, the installation of a landscaped, raised median along Roswell Road, pedestrian lighting on both sides of Roswell Road, a 10-12 foot multi-use path on the east side, and a 6-foot sidewalk on the west side of Roswell Road.
January 20, 2026 City Council Meeting: The Mayor and City Council approved a change order for additional scope of work, and associated fees, from Heath & Lineback Engineers, Inc. for the Roswell Road North End Boulevard Project.

July 16, 2024 City Council Meeting: The Mayor and City Council approved a contract award to BCC Engineering, LLC d/b/a Heath and Lineback Engineers for design services.
Roswell Road is classified as a "principal arterial", serving as the "north-south" spine through the City, providing direct access from the city of Roswell, to Interstate 285, and beyond. Roswell Road has 2-lanes in each direction, with a center two-way left turn lane. There are six intersections, or major driveways, within the project. Along the west side of the road, sidewalk exists from Dunwoody Place to the first driveway of River Ridge Office Park. There are striped crosswalks, with pedestrian signals, at the intersection of Roswell Road and Dunwoody Place. Six MARTA bus stops are within the project area, providing transit services to local residents and businesses.
A Public Open House will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at Sandy Springs Middle School, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. A public comment period will be open following the meeting, until February 24, 2026.
