Road Resurfacing

The City routinely evaluates road condition and maintains a priority based resurfacing program.

Streets remain open during resurfacing work; however, please makes sure vehicles are not parked in the roadway. If you have a sprinkler system, please ensure that the system is not spraying water into the road. Expect minor delays accessing your street while crews are working.

The work is done in phases:

• Phase 1: Notice - Our goal is to provide at least one week's notice. The schedule takes into account weather and time to complete the roads in progress.
• Phase 2: Milling - Crews mill (grind up) the old asphalt. Following the mill process, it can take up to 7 days before paving takes place.
• Phase 3: Paving
• Phase 4: Clean Up - Public Works crews inspect the quality of the paving work and the clean up the area as needed. If additional work is required, it is scheduled and typically completed within three business days.
