The Fleet Center consists of a pre-engineered metal building that includes office space and vehicle service bays. The site also includes a fueling station, parking, an outdoor picnic area, an above-ground stormwater management facility, and utility infrastructure.

During the City Council Meeting, Council approved a variance of the development code.

Agenda Item: Request for Mayor and City Council Consideration of a Variance from Section 8.2.10 – Applicability; Fences and Walls of the Development Code to Allow the Use of Concertina Wire for Construction of the Fleet Maintenance Facility.

During the Public Facilities Authority Special Called Meeting, Council approved the final design for the combined Police Headquarters, Municipal Court, and Fleet Maintenance Building/Site project and guaranteed maximum total project pricing of $45,188,432.
