Pharmaceutical and Sharps Container Disposal

Pills and needles used to help keep us healthy can also pose unintended threats if not disposed of properly. Expired, unwanted, or unused non-narcotic pharmaceuticals and injectable products should be disposed of as securely as possible.

Community members can turn in prescription and over-the-counter medications and sealed sharps containers to secure drop boxes at Sandy Springs Fire Stations No. 1 and 3, Monday - Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm.

Station No 1 - Address: 1425 Spalding Dr, Sandy Springs, GA 30350

Station No 3 - Address: 6025 Raider Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

This program is made available in partnership with the Sandy Springs Rotary Club.
