(Special POPS) to its expanding lineup of Adaptive Recreation programs.</p>\n\n<p>Starting Saturday, March 8, and continuing every Saturday for eight weeks, Special POPS will offer adaptive tennis designed to introduce the lifetime sport to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Participants will receive instruction on forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, and match play from trained volunteers. The program will take place at the Sandy Springs Racquet Center and is free of charge, although <a href=\"https://www.specialpopstennis.org/registration-new/locations/\">registration</a> is required.</p>\n\n<p><q>Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, can experience the physical, social, and emotional benefits of recreation,</q> said Jane Jarrett, the City's Certified Adaptive Recreation Sport Specialist. <q>By expanding our adaptive programs, we aim to foster inclusion, promote well-being, and empower individuals to lead active, fulfilling lives within their community.</q></p>\n\n<p>Special POPS Tennis joins other popular adaptive programs such as Adaptive Kayaking and Adaptive Fishing.
