Sandy Springs Fire Rescue wants to make sure that your barbecue is safe, and urges residents to follow these rules: 

If you live in an apartment, do not use your grill or store it in breezeways, balconies/patios, stairways or exit access areas. Charcoal burners and other open-flame cooking devices should not be operated on combustible balconies or within 10 feet of combustible construction.
