Sandy Springs Fire Rescue encourages residents to follow these grill safety guidelines:

• If you live in an apartment community, do not use grills or store them in breezeways, balconies, patios, stairways, or exit access areas.
• Charcoal grills and other open-flame cooking devices must not be operated on combustible balconies or within 10 feet of combustible construction.
