Sandy Springs Officer Helps Deliver Baby on the Highway

October 4, 2021

On Monday, Oct. 4, a Sandy Springs Police officer was on routine patrol when he came upon a vehicle stopped on the side of the highway. As the officer went to investigate, he helped deliver a baby.

There is no such thing as "routine" in their line of work, and every encounter can come with surprises just like this one.

The officer followed up with mom and baby at the hospital, and both were doing very well. Baby Noah will have a great story to tell when he grows up!
