SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (July 31, 2023) - The City of Sandy Springs has begun the process of studying options to enhance the transportation network in the Powers Ferry area. Help us identify preferred transportation enhancements. The City of Sandy Springs invites community members to participate in a survey and public open house.

WHEN & WHAT: Monday, August 14. Drop in any time between 6-8 p.m. to learn more and provide input to help inform study outcomes.

WHERE: Fulton County Schools Administrative Center, 6201 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30339.

An online survey is available now for community members to share ideas and feedback. The survey will be open until August 22, 2023. For more information and to access the survey, please visit http://spr.gs/powersferry.

The Powers Ferry Transportation Study will conduct a technical transportation evaluation of the Powers Ferry area; identify holistic improvements to support pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and vehicular travel; and develop an implementation plan to move projects and strategies forward.

The study builds upon the improvements identified in the Next Ten Comprehensive Plan and Powers Ferry Small Area Plan, which established a vision for the area as a multi-modal, connected, neighborhood-scale district with improved retail, commercial uses, and natural resource amenities.
