Sandy Springs to Host Open House on Proposed Allen Road and Lake Forrest Drive Intersection Improvements

WHAT:  The City of Sandy Springs will host a Public Information Open House regarding proposed improvements at the intersection of Lake Forrest Drive and Allen Road. There will be a short presentation followed by the open house.

WHEN: Thursday, September 21, 2023. 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The presentation will begin at 6:15 p.m.

WHERE:  Sandy Springs City Hall, 1 Galambos Way, Sandy Springs, GA

BACKGROUND: Due to traffic and safety concerns, the City is proposing a mini-roundabout. The public is invited to learn more about the project and the next steps involved. The improvements include operational and safety enhancements to alleviate the existing bottleneck condition. Sidewalks and pedestrian access improvements are also planned.
