The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center proudly announces the appointment of Rafael Quinones as the Executive Chef. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Chef Quinones brings a wealth of culinary expertise and a proven track record.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Chef Quinones plans to re-invent the menu and is poised to lead the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center’s Food and Beverage team to new heights. Chef Quinones is renowned for his exceptional ability to spearhead culinary teams, drive innovation, and elevate dining experiences to unparalleled heights.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Chef Quinones has demonstrated a keen understanding of current food trends and regional tastes. His proficiency in menu planning, coupled with a strong focus on profitability and cost control, ensures culinary offerings that are both delectable and economically sustainable.
Before joining the City, Chef Quinones held executive culinary positions at esteemed establishments, including the Colee Hotel in Atlanta, the Hilton Miami Blue Lagoon Resort, and The Row Hotel in Somerville, MA. His extensive experience managing banquet functions, overseeing multiple outlets, and implementing operational best practices underscores his ability to drive excellence in culinary operations.
