City of Sandy Springs Becomes an International Code Council Preferred Education Provider 

The City of Sandy Springs is proud to announce that it has been approved as an International Code Council (ICC) Preferred Education Provider, allowing participants in eligible City Build seminars, roundtables and other educational programs to earn ICC Continuing Education Units (CEU).  

Purpose of the Preferred Provider Program Benefits of Becoming a Preferred  Provider Goals of ICC Preferred Provider ProgramMany building professionals – including building inspectors, plans examiners, architects, engineers, contractors, and design professionals – must complete continuing education to maintain their professional certifications and licenses. As an ICC Preferred Education Provider, the City can now help professionals meet these renewal requirements while continuing to provide high-quality, practical, code-focused training close to home. 

Professionals attending eligible programs can: 

• Earn ICC CEUs toward certification renewal 
• Stay current with building code changes and evolving industry practices 
• Improve construction quality and code compliance 
• Learn directly from experienced code officials and industry professionals 

The City of Sandy Springs’ free Build seminar series brings together the expertise of the community’s building professionals with insights from leading industry experts and manufacturers to provide attendees with practical, real-world knowledge on building codes, permitting, inspections, and construction best practices that can be applied directly to their projects.
