Winter Storm Fern: City of Sandy Springs Closures and Safety Information

Due to Winter Storm Fern's impact, the City of Sandy Springs will close its administrative offices at City Hall on Monday, January 26, 2026. Municipal Court will also be closed and cases will be rescheduled. City parks will remain closed from Saturday, January 24 through Monday, January 26, to allow staff time to safely treat park surfaces. Emergency services will remain fully operational.
The City Hall lobby will be open as a warming center on Monday, January 26 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
City officials urge residents to stay off the roads unless necessary. This will help ensure public safety personnel can reach those in need and allow public works crews to treat City roads and rights-of-way effectively.
