The City of Sandy Springs to Host Fire Station 4 Information Open House

The City of Sandy Springs is hosting a public information open house regarding the upcoming construction of Sandy Springs Fire Station 4. The public will have the opportunity to view the renderings, explore the site layout, and learn how this facility will enhance emergency response and community safety.  

When: Wednesday, June 17, 5:30-7:30 p.m. 

Where: Church of the Redeemer, 5185 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. 

Located at 5275 Roswell Rd., Fire Station 4 will consist of a new two-story, approximately 21,618 square foot, station and a separate 11,561 square foot logistics building. The station is planned with three drive-through apparatus bays, support spaces for equipment and gear, decontamination areas, and living quarters for 24-hour staffing. The logistics building will provide centralized storage and support functions for the department. Site work includes landscaping, parking and training space. 

Construction on the new fire station is scheduled to begin in fall 2026, with an estimated completion date of December 2027.
