SANDY SPRINGS CITY COUNCIL APPROVES CONTRACT FOR PEACHTREE DUNWOODY ROAD AT TELFORD PLACE SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

During its July 20, 2021 meeting, the City Council approved a contract with Ohmshiv Construction in the amount of $1,416,927, for construction of the Peachtree Dunwoody Road at Telford Place Roadway Safety Improvements.

The purpose of the project is to reduce accidents, and increase operational efficiency along Peachtree Dunwoody Road at the intersection of Telford Place. Improvements include adjusting and realigning the roadway, adding sidewalks, and upgrading the stormwater drainage system.

Construction is currently scheduled to begin in fall 2021. For information on the City’s transportation projects, please visit spr.gs/improvements.
