CELEBRATE THE LEGACY OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR

SANDY SPRINGS (January 4, 2024) — Join us for this year’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art and Film Celebration. The City’s annual tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Studio Theatre at City Springs, 1 Galambos Way, Sandy Springs, Ga.

This family-friendly event will feature interactive art projects and a film designed to celebrate, educate, and share the teachings of Dr. King. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art and Film Celebration is free and open to the community, and parking in the City Springs deck is complimentary. Looking ahead to Black History Month, the City will feature the work of local artist Dakoro in the Gallery at City Springs. The community can meet the artist at a reception scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 1, from 6-8 p.m. in the City Hall lobby. His work will be on display beginning mid-January.
