The geographic heart of the metropolitan Atlanta area rests in Sandy Springs with prime access to Interstate 285 and Georgia Highway 400, and Interstate 75 located just west of the City’s border. The City is also served by four MARTA rail stations within its Central Perimeter marketplace, with a direct route to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Eight MARTA bus routes run through the city, and four GRTA Xpress routes serve commuters from Cumming and Conyers to the Perimeter area.
