Lantern Parade: Bringing Light to Life

The Lantern Parade is an evening filled with glowing lanterns and giant whimsical puppets. Families bring handcrafted lanterns, gather together as the sun sets, and join the community parade. The event concludes with illuminated puppets floating on the Chattahoochee River.

The parade takes place on Saturday, May 8, 2027, with festivities beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Getting Here

Parking is available at 7840 Roswell Road. Attendees can walk approximately 4 minutes to the Pre-Parade Party.

Pre-Parade Party

In a new location. Enjoy a live DJ, free activities, food trucks, and more from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Enjoy the Parade

Parade step-off begins at 8:30 p.m. After the parade, attendees can watch lanterns float on the Chattahoochee River. Shuttle service is available back to the parking area.
