Lake Forrest Drive Sidewalk

Phase 1 Status: Completed December 2025.

Description: Installed 1,240 linear feet of 6-foot sidewalk with a 2-foot landscape strip on the west side of Lake Forrest Drive from 4838 Lake Forrest Drive to 4852 Lake Forrest Drive and from 5022 Lake Forrest Drive to 14 Mt. Paran Road.

Phase 2 Status: Right-of-way acquisition is underway for the remaining portions of the project along Lake Forrest Drive from the City limit to Mount Paran Road.

The project includes approximately 3,300 linear feet of 6-foot sidewalk on the west side of Lake Forrest Drive from the City limit to 4822 Lake Forrest Drive and from 25 Pine Lake Drive to 4990 Lake Forrest Drive.

Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2026.

Traffic Impacts: None.

Background: This project is funded through the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST) program.
