Hunting

According to state guidelines, any hunter authorized on private property to hunt must be listed on the permit application of the landowner or lessee.  Guest hunters who are not listed must carry written permission on their person while hunting.

Please note that no gun hunting is allowed within city limits. Bow hunting is permitted on private property with permission of the landowner and secured license/permits. No hunting is permitted on any public property. 

To obtain a license, permit or pass for hunting, the hunter must apply either online at www.ga.wildlifelicense.com or through a License Agent (www.gohuntgeoriga.com/LicenseAgents), or by telephone at 800-366-2661.
