Georgia Express Lanes Public Hearing Open House Series

July 18, 2024    4:00pm

Join GDOT for their Public Hearing Open House Series!

The public is invited to the proposed I-285 Top End Express Lanes Project (PI No. 0001758) Public Hearing Open House (PHOH) series! This marks the beginning of our official public comment period – offering the opportunity to learn more about the proposed project and review the environmental effects and proposed mitigation measures detailed in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIS).

GDOT encourages the public to provide feedback on the proposed project by submitting formal comments. Along with the complete Draft EIS, new project information is available to help the public learn about the latest updates and what’s changed since the Public Information Open House (PIOH) series held in 2020.
Helpful resources that will be at the open house events include:

  • Displays summarizing analyses and information included in the Draft EIS
  • Updated project visualization video
  • Updated concept layouts (roll plots) illustrating project features
  • Environmental impact findings and mitigation plan

All this information is available NOW on the project website and in the Virtual PHOH Meeting Room
