BACKGROUND:
The City of Sandy Springs is developing design guidelines for its six primary commercial and mixed-use areas. These guidelines aim to encourage future development to align with the varying existing characters and proposed visions for the commercial corridors throughout Sandy Springs.
The guidelines will build on standards included in the Development Code and Technical Manual by providing additional design, area-specific context for building features, building sites, landscaping, streetscapes, and other elements that shape the appearance and experience of the six primary commercial and mixed-use areas of the city, including:
- Greater City Springs
- Crossroads
- Neighborhood Village
- North End
- Central Perimeter
- Powers Ferry
