Volunteer Opportunities with the Police Department
The Citizens on Patrol program gives residents an opportunity to partner with the Sandy Springs Police Department through volunteer service.
The Sandy Springs Law Enforcement Explorers Youth Program is open to young adults ages 14–21 who are interested in learning more about law enforcement and Sandy Springs Police Department operations.
Volunteer Opportunities with the Fire Department
Residents interested in volunteering with the Sandy Springs Fire Department can participate through the CERT Program and Citizen Fire Academy .
Volunteer Opportunities with Recreation and Parks
Individuals interested in sustainability and environmental stewardship can participate in the City’s Environmental Stewardship Program .
The program is designed for residents who want to engage with Sandy Springs’ greenspaces and urban forest while helping educate the community, lead volunteers, and collaborate with local partners.
Volunteer Opportunities with the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center
The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center (SSPAC) welcomes volunteers interested in supporting guest experiences and venue operations.
SSPAC Volunteers assist with:
- Greeting guests
- Ushering
- Ticket scanning
- Guest services
- Additional venue support needs
