Pet Policy

Pets are only permitted at the Blue Stone 5K9.

For the safety of both pets and people, attendees are asked to leave pets at home during the festival. Service animals are permitted.

Hotels

Stay in Sandy Springs, just minutes from downtown Atlanta, with convenient access to Metro Atlanta attractions by car or MARTA. While close to the city, Sandy Springs also offers more than 950 acres of parks and natural areas, along with independently owned restaurants and shops.

Is the event free?

  • The event is free to attend.
  • All performances on City Green and South Stage are free.
  • The Kids Zone requires a $15 wristband for unlimited access to inflatables and rides.
  • Food truck items, artist market items, and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Can I bring my dog?

  • Pets are only permitted at the Blue Stone 5K9.
  • For the safety of both pets and people, attendees are asked to leave pets at home during the festival. Service animals are permitted.

Can I bring my kids?

  • The Blue Stone Festival is a family-friendly event featuring a Kids Zone and performances intended for families.
  • The Kids Zone features inflatables and rides. A $15 wristband provides unlimited access. Learn more about the Blue Stone Festival Kids Zone.

What items should I pack?

  • Drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen.
  • Wear comfortable shoes — the festival spans multiple blocks.
  • Staff may use golf carts during the event, but rides are not available for attendees.

Can I bring tables or chairs?

  • Blankets and lawn chairs are allowed. Low-back chairs are preferred.
  • Umbrellas are permitted for shade. Please lower them during performances.
  • No tents, including pop-up tents, tarp tents, or canopy tents.
  • Please do not bring outside tables or move existing bistro tables and chairs on the plaza.

Can I bring my drone?

Drones are not permitted.

Where are the restrooms?

  • Restrooms and portable restrooms are available throughout the festival and approved parking lots. ADA-accessible restrooms are available at all locations.
  • Indoor restrooms are available in the building on Mount Vernon Highway and inside City Hall.
  • Portable restrooms are available:
    • At the Lake Forest Elementary School parking lot
    • At the Century Springs Office parking lot
    • Near the Sports Zone and CityBar & Cafe
    • Near the Kids Zone and South Stage on Hilderbrand Drive

Are there any road closures?

  • Yes. Learn more about Blue Stone Festival road closures .
  • Customers will still be able to access the Springs Landing Shopping Center, including Brooklyn Cafe.
  • Residents of Blue Stone Lofts, The Aston, and neighboring apartments will still be able to access their parking garages.
