Apply for a Business License

All businesses located in the City of Sandy Springs are required to hold a valid Business Occupational Tax Certificate, often referred to as a business license, and pay Business Occupational Taxes. The Certificate is valid for one calendar year and must be renewed annually. You can find the application and more information by visiting the Sandy Springs Revenue Department page .

Staff are available to provide guidance and answer questions. The Revenue Department is open by appointment only from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at City Hall and can be contacted via our call center at 770-730-5600.
