You can begin interacting with this website's AI assistant by clicking or tapping the icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

What It Can and Cannot Do

The AI Assistant's intent is to answer common questions about the City and content on its website.  It can be a quick and easy way to search for information without having to know which page to find on the website.  Functions the chatbot will handle well are:

1. Contact information for departments: “How can I contact Community Development?”
2. City events: “What’s going on this weekend in the City?”
3. Business hours: “What time is City Hall open?”
4. High-level functions: “How can I apply for a fence permit?”
5. City information: “Who are the City Council members?”

The AI Assistant cannot report more detailed matters such as permit application status, traffic citations, court appearances, or why a license application was accepted/rejected.  Those inquiries are best directed and handled to the appropriate City department or the Call Center, which can be reached at 770-730-5600.
