Sandy Springs Photography Club
Whether you are looking to improve your photography or simply want to begin using more than your camera’s automatic setting, join like-minded individuals at the Sandy Springs Photography Club. During our club meetings, we take a look at different types of digital SLR cameras and learn about their strengths and weaknesses. We cover the basic techniques of operating a camera and discuss the artistic principles that lead to great photographs. Intimidated? Don’t be! The goal of our club is to help you develop your abilities and we welcome complete beginners. Whatever your skill level, the club will help build your confidence as a photographer.
What to bring: Bring your camera and any lenses you have. No camera? No problem! We have some extras for you to borrow.
About the Sandy Springs Photography Club: Founded in 2017, this is a new club provided by the City of Sandy Springs. We are not going to charge any club-dues to begin with, so for now the club is completely free. As the club grows, we will look at providing club events such as workshops, field trips and opportunities to try out professional-grade cameras and lenses. Moving beyond taking photos, we also plan to cover digital editing of photos using a computer.
Club Meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
