Do You Know How To Perform Life-Saving CPR?

Performing simple hands-only CPR doubles a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest, yet the vast majority of Americans don’t know how to administer this life-saving procedure. Are you prepared to act if someone you care about stops breathing? Could you be a hero to a fellow citizen if they need your help?

Sandy Springs Fire Rescue is supporting our community by offering free CPR classes to civic groups in our city. All groups are welcome, including churches, home owner’s associations, social clubs, businesses and organizations. Upon your request, firefighters will visit your group with CPR practice kits, and give you vital knowledge that you may someday use to save a life. A class typically lasts 45 minutes, but can be tailored to fit with your meeting schdule. Classes can be as small as 20 participants or as large as 200 participants.

For more information, or to discuss setting up a training class, email Shannon Cichosz with Sandy Springs Fire Rescue at, or telephone him at 770-722-5367. Please note that this training does not provide CPR certification.
