The City’s building inspectors verify the contractor’s or property owner’s work at each milestone of the project. These inspections ensure the state adopted building codes are being followed correctly. Once the project is complete, a final inspection is conducted and certificate of occupancy or completion will be issued based on the type of permit.

To schedule an inspection, use the City's online portal. Contractors are recommended to register and use the Contractor's Access Portal to schedule an inspection online . Inspection submitted prior to 2:00 pm, Weekdays, will be scheduled for the next business day.

If you experience any difficulties with the portal, please email, and someone will respond to your questions/concerns within 24 hours.
