Voting in Sandy Springs

The deadline to register for the November 4, 2014 general election is October 6, 2014.  If you are not registered to vote, visit Fulton County's voter registration information website. You can also register at Sandy Springs City Hall (map) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Advance Voting Information

Advance voting begins on October 13, 2014 through October 31, 2014.

Voter Registration

To register, individuals must be a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote, and at least 17.5 years of age. Individuals may not register if serving a sentence for a conviction of a felony offense or have been found mentally incompetent by a judge.

Residents who wish to register at Sandy Springs City Hall can request registration materials at the Revenue or Planning Permit Departments. Sandy Springs staff that have been trained and certified by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections Department will be available to assist residents who want to register to vote. Sandy Springs City Hall is located at 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500, Sandy Springs, GA 30350. City Hall is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Absentee Ballot Procedures

Fulton County registered voters may fill out an application for official absentee ballot.

The application can then be mailed to: Fulton County Voter Registration, 130 Peachtree St. S.W.; Suite 2186; Atlanta, GA 30303, or can be faxed to Fulton County, 404-730-8839.

If you are unable to download the ballot, Fulton County will mail it to you. The ballot must be mailed back and received by Fulton County by 7 p.m., Election Day. For additional information, call the Fulton County Voter Registration Office at 404-730-7072.
