ANNUAL STARS AND STRIPES CELEBRATION TO LIGHT SKIES JULY 4th
City of Sandy Springs hosts its seventh annual Independence Day Celebration at the Concourse Corporate Campus.
The skies above Sandy Springs will sparkle and sizzle as the City hosts its seventh annual Stars and Stripes Celebration fireworks event, Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the Concourse Corporate Campus lawn. The community is invited to pack a picnic and enjoy an evening under the stars as part of this much-anticipated holiday tradition.
“Our fireworks celebration has become one of the area’s most anticipated events of the summer, with friends and neighbors, including those in surrounding communities, gathering to watch what always is a spectacular display,” said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul.
The official viewing area is the lawn at the Concourse, located at Five Concourse Parkway. Complimentary parking officially opens at 6:30 p.m. and is available in Concourse Parking Decks Five and Six. Music from Bogey and the Viceroy begins at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks provide their effervescent sparkle beginning at 9:45 p.m.
There is no admission to attend. Residents are encouraged to pack a snack and bring soft-sided balls, Frisbees, and other kid and crowd-friendly toys. Pets, tents, outdoor cooking, and personal-use sparklers are not permitted in the Concourse area. For the safety of all, drones are not permitted in the Concourse and fireworks areas.
The Sandy Springs Stars and Stripes Celebration is sponsored by Regent Partners and CBRE Global Investors (Concourse) and the City of Sandy Springs.
