CITY OF SANDY SPRINGS TO HOST A PUBLIC INFORMATION OPEN HOUSE REGARDING PLANNED INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT ROSWELL ROAD AND DALRYMPLE ROAD
WHAT: The City of Sandy Springs will host a Public Information Open House regarding concepts developed for intersection improvements at Roswell Road and Dalrymple Road. The Open House will provide the community with the opportunity to review and provide input on the proposed concepts. There will not be a formal presentation, but City of Sandy Springs representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The proposed project is intended to improve safety and operational efficiency at the intersection of Roswell Road and Dalrymple Road. Proposed improvements include adding an additional left turn lane on eastbound Dalrymple Road and extending the existing sidewalk. Pedestrian lighting, crosswalks, and traffic signal upgrades are included as part of the project.
The project is included within the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST) program approved by voters in Sandy Springs and Fulton County as part of the T-SPLOST referendum passed in November 2016.
