Complimentary Daytime Curbside Parking Coming to City Springs
Beginning February 1, 2019, visitors to City Springs will be able to park in the street-level surface parking spaces for free for 2-hours sessions. This change in policy reflects a desire to accommodate patrons dining at restaurants for breakfast and lunch and for those visiting the fitness boutiques at Market Square. Please note, that parking fines will be strictly enforced for cars parked longer than the allowed time.
During its Feb. 5, 2019 meeting, the Sandy Springs City Council approved the change in parking, permitting the two-hour complimentary surface parking, including a penalty schedule for those who overstay the complimentary time period. A $25.00 fine will be assessed for the first three offenses, with the car towed on the fourth infraction.
Individuals visiting City Springs may continue to park for free in the underground deck where two hours are complimentary. Flat rate event parking and valet parking will still be in effect for specific events. Retailers also are able to validate deck parking after two hours for patrons.
The underground parking deck is easily accessible from several access points. From Roswell Road, turn west onto Mt. Vernon Highway and take an immediate right onto Galambos Way. The east parking entrance will be on your right. The west parking entrance is located under the southern Aston apartment building. Guests turning onto Galambos Way from Sandy Springs Circle will see the entrance on their right. Patrons entering from Johnson Ferry Road onto Blue Stone Road at Market Square can turn right onto Galambos Way and enter the deck at the west entrance, or turn left onto Galambos Way, passing the front of City Hall and the performing arts center to reach the east parking entrance on their left.
