Approval of Meeting Agenda - February 19, 2020

A motion was made by Commissioner Nickles, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, to approve the agenda. The motion passed 5-0

Approval of Meeting Minutes - January 22, 2020

Minutes 1/22/2020

A motion was made by Commissioner Settles, seconded by Commissioner Kelly to approve the minutes from the January 22, 2020 Planning Commission meeting.

Commissioner Settles motioned to amend the motion to approve to include the following corrections:

-change “Commissioner Reed” to “Commissioner Haggard” and,

-remove “Commissioner King” as being present

Commissioner Kelly seconded the motion to amend. The motion to amend passed unanimously.

The motion to approve the minutes from the January 22, 2020 Planning Commission meeting, as amended, passed 5-0.

Request for a granting of relief via a Beneficial Use Determination and in particular to amend the Official Zoning Map to rezone a portion of the property from RD-27 to RD-18 per Sec. 11.6.4.E.1.b. See legal description.

  • A motion was made by Commissioner Kelly, seconded by Commissioner Nickles, to approve of Beneficial Use Determination BU19-0001, subject to Staff’s recommended conditions. The motion passed 5-0.

135 & 145 Cliftwood Drive

Request for a Zoning Map Amendment (Rezoning) of 135 & 145 Cliftwood Drive from CS-3 (City Springs, 3 stories maximum height) to CS-6 (City Springs, 6 stories maximum height).

RZ19-0006 Final Package

Motion 1

A motion was made by Commissioner Nickles, to recommend denial of Zoning Map Amendment (Rezoning) RZ19-0006.  However, there was no second, so the motion died.

 

Motion 2

A motion was made by Commissioner Settles, seconded by Commissioner King, to recommend approval of Zoning Map Amendment (Rezoning) RZ19-0006. The motion passed 4-1, with Commissioner Nickles in opposition.
