The city of Sandy Springs does not provide garbage collection services for residents. Residents must contract with private collection services for garbage pick up.

Sandy Springs contracts with Fulton County Animal Services, Atlanta, GA 30318, 404-613-0358. Fulton County Animal Services is managed by Southern Hope Humane Society, a nonprofit humane society dedicated to promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of homeless dogs and cats, helping pets stay in loving homes and educating the public about preventing pet overpopulation and homelessness.
