Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the City’s transportation systems which includes road and right of way maintenance, traffic engineering, transportation planning and capital improvement implementation. Public Works is also responsible for the City’s storm water infrastructure. You can contact Public Works through the Citizen Response Center at 770-730-5600.

2014 Resurfacing Projects

2014 Resurfacing Projects

The City of Sandy Springs is continuing its commitment to improving our roads with the 2014 Resurfacing program. Earlier this year, more than 80 streets were resurfaced. This fall, we continue the resurfacing projects with work taking place during daytime hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.). Check the table below for the latest resurfacing schedule.

Please note: Streets will remain open during the work, however please makes sure vehicles are not parked in the roadway, and if you have a sprinkler system, ensure it is not spraying into the road. Expect minor delays accessing your street while crews are working.
